Welcome to Felicity’s Café at Quex. We are a family run café situated within the beautiful Quex Park estate, opposite the Powell Cotton Museum.
Our warm and welcoming café offers breakfast, lunch, dessert and a delicious afternoon tea menu. Make sure you try one of our delicious home-made cakes, all of which are baked freshly onsite. Don’t worry, if you can’t fit it in during your visit we will happily make it to take away!
We are proud to offer an outstanding service for all that visit Felicity’s Cafe. We have a spacious outside seating area for those sunny days where you can enjoy the picturesque surroundings.
Felicity’s Café is available to hire for special events including baby showers, birthdays or any other private functions. Hosting up to 35 people we are able to cater for all dietary requirements for your celebrations. Please contact us to find out more.

Felicity’s serves the best cake!
Felicity’s serves the best cake we have ever had! And that’s just the icing on the aforementioned cake, as the food is equally wonderful! Staff are brilliant. Tip: make sure you book, it’s fast becoming the not-so best kept secret in Kent.

Great fruit bread
Visited here with a few friends at the beginning of the month and found the fruit bread exceptionally good value and highly tasty. The quiche was amazing and the service was outstanding what a beautiful place to visit ..well done felicity 👍👍👍

The prettiest and most yum Birthday cake!
I order birthday cakes from Felicity’s quite a lot, the latest was a (as expected) DELICIOUS and especially pretty Red Velvet Cake.
Delivered to my door like a little arrival of yummy heaven.
Couldn’t recommend more! 🙂

Cycling refreshment stop.
I visited today with a small group of cyclists (my first visit since it has changed hands). We reserved a table outside and it was a perfect coffees and cake stop. Everyone was very happy with their choice of cakes and drinks. We will return.

Hole-some homemade food.
I visited with my parents for lunch after a visit to the museum’s vast and beautiful gardens, we were more than ready for our lunch. The cafe itself is set in beautiful surroundings and is extremely clean with friendly staff. My father and I chose the Welsh rarebit on toast which was accompanied with a tasty crunchy side salad, the dish itself kept me full all day it was absolutely delicious and we both thoroughly enjoyed it, my mother opted for the homemade carrot cake and she commented that it was the best she had had in a long time! Having tried a few times to book a table throughout August, we were fortunate that they had space on a bank holiday Monday which I was so pleased about. I have been a few times and the food is always delicious. This time I had booked the afternoon tea. It goes without saying that this was definitely one of the best afternoon teas I have had! The food was delicious very good value for money, especially as it was the last day of eat out to help out. We even had to take some of the cakes home as we couldn’t quite manage it. I also really liked that there was a good balance of savoury and sweet treats and I also really loved that the scones were plain, which were fluffy and tasted delicious. The staff were so friendly and we were seated promptly. We were sat in the sun perfect for my sun worshipping mum. Overall the experience was superb and would highly recommend them!! 5*

Just been here for lunch and it was really good! The chicken, bacon, lettuce and tomato bagel burger was excellent and... the quiche of the day was really tasty too.Coffee (flat white) was smooth and tasty.We are looking forward to going back to try a breakfast soon. Perfect setting for a relaxed outdoor lunch. Good menu choices, well priced and friendly but professional... service.Three recent visits, all great and friends loved it too. Absolutely delicious sandwich with cake to follow. I booked ahead, as I had heard it's a popular place to visit. We... were not disappointed. I had the Sausage & Red Onion Marmalade on granary bread. My friend had the toasted Brie, Bacon & Cranberry sandwich, again on granary bread. A wide choice of drinks and extremely yummy home made cakes. Lovely open atmosphere with affordable prices. The hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows is quite tasty. I love the... vegetarian breakfast and my mates loved the bunny’s breakfast: the mushrooms and halloumi are especially tasty. We were travelling home from a break in Sandwich and needed a sandwich so I googled cafes nearby and came across... Felicity’s! I am so glad I did. Wonderful location, so peaceful! And the staff and food were excellent! My Brie & bacon sarnie was to die for! And Mum had the quiche of the day which was fresh out of the oven. We will return next time we are in the area.read more

With the weather being so glorious, a spot of afternoon tea outdoors was in order. We took a trip to Felicity's Cafe at... Quex Park.After performing the, what has become normal, NHS track and trace scanning we were walked over to a table situated perfectly in the sun.We were offered a choice of tea or coffee and told the food would be out shortly. Within a few minutes we had a stack of savoury and sweet treats presented to us.On the lowest tier were 4 sandwiches: salmon and cream cheese, chicken and tarragon, cheese and tomato (amazingly tasted like pizza) and finally egg mayonnaise.On the next tier we had a scotch quails egg, caramelised onion quiche and piccalilli.Finally, the top tier included a chocolate brownie, red velvet, bakewell and carrot cake topped off with a few strawberries.We've had many afternoon teas over the years, it's always great to experience the same sort of meal with differing menus or twists. In this case, there were several elements on offer that wouldn't have been my choice. However, the empty plates at the end speak volumes. The food was great!The cheese and tomato 'pizza' sandwich was amazing. The salmon sandwich fantastic. The scones crumbly, with lashings of clotted cream and a blob a jam. The red velvet light and fluffy with icing that was sweet and creamy.It was the perfect amount of food that left us just to the comfy side of stuffed.Service was great. We were offered refills of tea several times and didn't have to wait long should we require anything else. The staff were all very friendly and attentive.Feeling secluded from the rest of the world and all its chaos, it was a satisfying and peaceful way to let time tick by.If you're looking for a good quality afternoon tea in a relaxing setting, give Felicity's Cafe a try.read more

My mum and I often go to Quex Park, but this is the first time we have tried Felicity's.It is a pleasant place to sit... both inside and out, the staff were nice and friendly, and we had good service. The hot chocolates are good, really hit the spot, the coffee cake was nice, but unfortunately the Scones tasted stail.Might try again one day.read more

We booked for an afternoon picnic for 6 and all details were taken by Molly who was so helpful as my husband is such a... fussy eater. She even phoned when she thought it might rain to see if we wanted to go ahead outside or perhaps take our picnic hamper away. We'll we decided to have our picnic there which I'm so glad we did. The service was second to none, the whole experience of the blankets and pillows being laid out was such a lovely touch and the hamper well.... OMG it was absolutely fantastic. It was all homemade and the quality was outstanding. I can't rave about this place enough. We all had a fab day. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
